We are pleased to announce to drivers we have had two more contracts awarded this week:
These have been achieved through the hard work of our managers who are now actively marketing businesses in Walsall to use our excellent service.
We thank all drivers for all their hard work in making 247 the success it is.
Saturday 29th June 2019 saw us complete more than 5000 jobs for the first time. We have been advertising heavily, but more importantly, we used the “nearest car” dispatch method from 1pm until the early hours of Sunday morning.
As many of you know we already use “nearest car” in the morning, after Friday Prayer and at late Friday and Saturday nights.
We will be extending this “nearest car” dispatch method at the following times:
After 12pm on Saturdays until 1am Sunday morning
12pm until 6pm on Sunday afternoons
3pm – 6pm Monday to Friday
This will cover jobs more effectively and give you less dead mileage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We will also switch the “nearest car” on temporarily whenever we have:
Finally, please note that these measures have been put in place to improve standards and our service to you and the passengers you pick up. We continue to investigate avenues of further investment.
247 Cars are proud to announce that we have secured a contract with Premier Inn M6 Junction 7.
The minimum fare from this hotel will be £6 and the price per mile is also increased £1.70 per mile to ensure it is worthwhile for our drivers to pick up from here.
Please ensure you service this contract with diligence.
ACE Cars & Skyways Acquisition
As many of our drivers will be aware ACE Cars & Skyways Cars have been purchased and are now part of the 247 Group.
ACE work will merge in nicely with the acquisition of AK Cars a few years ago. The combined work in these areas around the Town and Birchills/Beechdale will return over 8000 jobs per week. It will also allow us to further penetrate Bloxwich & Leamore
We continue to invest in our business which you are all a part of. Please use the facilities we have put in place especially texting 07400247393 with complaints you may have. If you have a disagreement with a customer, please give them benefit of doubt and report the issue to us. We promise we will do our best to sort it out.
We are now by far the largest base in Walsall and this development will further aid growth in WS1, WS2 & WS3 areas IA. We would also like to thank our existing drivers for all their hard work and welcome the new drivers joining our company.
